HorizonXI can be a daunting game to get into. Below we've listed some key things to remember when you play - hopefully these will ensure your time spent playing will be fun rather than frustrating.

The other people you see in the cities and around the world were just like you at some point - unsure of where to go, what to do, or how to do it! Don't be afraid to ask questions of your fellow players.
Use the resources available to you
At the bottom of every page on this website is a link to the Discord server and the Wiki for the server; you can use these links to find people to ask questions of, or to search for items, quests, etc. and learn more about them.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes
It's okay to die to some random creature - okay to delete a necessary item to complete a quest, or forget something back in town. We all do it, and while it may add some delay, it's not going to stop you from ultimately achieving your goals in the end.
Make plans for your time in-game
It's very easy to get logged on and feel the choice paralysis of so many things to do. Log in with the mindset of "I will get X thing done" today and focus exclusively on that. You can even make a checklist of goals if you'd like!
